Dear All, I have received the quotation from Tivolli Design for my kitchen cabinet, TV cabinet , Wardrobe and etc.

However, I noticed that the company is fairly new, which was only established in 2016 and can't seem to find review of the company.

Appreciate your feedback or share with me your experience with the company.

i have placed depo with them as well, but im waiting for my apart to key handover, havent discuss with them yet on what i want to do, hope to hear past buyers their opinion as well

If the price is 10-20% cheaper than competitor, they are ok.

Materials are good. Workmanship is so so, not too good or too bad until u need to go online and complain. Most of the workers are chinese but still not up to par for the workmanship imo.

My issues:
- Full height wardrobe has a 3mm gap opening on the bottom. Anti jump doors can't be fully closed no matter how much the worker adjust. It will leave a gap around 1 cm every time it's close.

- Kitchen granite top L shape not that smooth, but acceptable. If use hand and swipe it, can feel it's not even

- Kitchen bottom storage bent if put heavy stuff because they only put support for the side but not the middle. Like ikea stuff heh

- Make sure they fix everything before u pay the remaining 50%. As i know they asks 50% upon confirm, 50% after finish. My case was one of the SA chasing payment even before the job is done. Pls be firm and ensure everything ok before paying cos after u pay most of the rectification will be only done one shot

I just paid deposit to them. I also need some feedback from others. Ya undoubtedly their price is reasonable but they are slow in giving 3D plan. They are unable to consider some detailed stuff. But no choice their price is attractive!

Workmanship is not bad just not perfect. For the price paid I would still recommend it

If u would like to compare it with higher end providers for example unity if cos they are better but if u compare quotes u would know what I mean

i think a member here is from tivolli maybe you can talk to him if you experience issues that cannot be solved.

most vendors has a range of options to choose from, got entry to premium, key is their price should be good compared to equivalent from others, then you can call them competitive.

you need to pay attention to their display cabinets in their showroom, you will get an idea on how their cabinets are built as most of them has a standard way of building their cabinets.

always check the interiors of the cabinet including the underside of the top, check how many boards they use for supports, some use 1 some use 2. of course better built will cost more.

rule of thumb is good no cheap, cheap no good and expensive doesn't always mean good. use your own judgment and also your SA attitude, if the SA is a decent person even if the boss/worker want to take short cut/cut cost they will exert more pressure to get things done due to responsibility. if boss around even better one glance you can tell what type of owner they are. those that like to sweat talk everything "Can Can Can", just beware. not all are bad, but usually it's a tell tale sign.

I got quotations from 4 well known companies which included Tivolli Design. My own impression of them below (I didn't go with Tivolli)

1. Very calculative in the sense they feel customer want to take advantage of them. During getting a quotation all other companies straight draw 2D/3D hand sketch for you to visualize. One company even better straight draw 3D. When asked Tivolli they say no drawings until deposit paid. How to pay deposit if can't roughly get the design
2. Person claimed that this company is an Italian design house. Googled the company actually just a Malaysian brand.
3. Their quotation not as professional as others whereby it clearly states line by line and the price. Feels a bit too simple their quotation
4. Attempt to schedule a meeting at site to get measurements. The sales person keep changing the time after agreeing. Lastly another sales person came rather than the initial person I deal with.
5. Price wise comparable to other companies so I didn't chose them as other companies showcased better service

In the end who do you choose?

Yeah which company did you choose at the end? Since you said the prices were comparable.

Im agree with point 2 (checked before with their company registration) and point 3(not systematic)! May I know which company can provide hand sketch 3D draw before paying deposit? So far as I know is Verra Kitchen, Signature and unity.

Intech Kitchen provide sketches too.

If you in Cheras i think you can try Home Harmony Velocity Branch i see them draw sketches on PC not sure need deposit or the price but no harm asking.
