I notice that some of the new house designs have vaulted ceiling , with windows (for extra sun light) as high as 30 feet or more. I've checked with some contractors, they said no need to install grille for these type of window. Not only that, they are not willing to do it for extra payment. Why? They can just stack up the scaffolding to reach it, but they just don't wanna do the job. Why? rclxub.gif

Extra cost unless you can rent the scaffolding and coordinate the other needed work in that area. Something a main contractor will factor into the costing.

iron works contractors only use ladder

rarely house have this type of window so scaffolding is a waste

some more from my observations based on most of the house break on my area thief coming from kitchen

Contractor refer the general one who usually coordinate the other work. Normally window grill guy are usually specialised artisan and they would expect working from floor to say 10-12 feet. Certain equipment don't lend readily to lugging whilst working at such height and a stable platform like scaffolding will be required. Also dont forget floors can be ruined hence they need to factor in things to protect it.
