Arabs had the most powerful nation west of India between 7th and 12th century, when girls did not go to school.
So, let's stop girls, including your own daughters, to receive education.

Powderful argument. Unfortunately, only few UMNO members that get benefited by GST will agreed with you.

the problem with Malaysia is that we don have a bi-partisan department like the Congressional Budget Office of USA... which provides budget and economic information to their Congress

over here, basically any politician is able to pull figures out of their arses to hoodwink the voters..
BN did it since time immemorial, now PH is learning the same pony tricks..

Apparently, some of my relatives are believing LGE's promise, say what GST must go

Can't believe ppl nowadays are so naive

I know, GST menyusahkan rakyat but the problem is it's not easy to abolish GST when it's already started long time ago

I would be totally fine with the reduction to maybe like 3%, as long the money goes to the country and not to someone's account.

Oppo macai - failed debate on economy agenda. Corruption is one of the many factors, but he can only focus on this

fighting corruption != economic policy

Pakatan Harapan Alternative Budget 2017

example of bullshits:
page 9 - assume car sales = new housing; or it is proportionate = lol doh.gif
--> no citation on this relationship
--> blames income; neglecting inflated housing price factors
--> bla bla bla.. 2017 is a bad year

Yea, no more GST, but "...with the view of returning to pre-GST numbers on consumption tax." rclxms.gif

So, what's Oppo's plan?
page 16: expenditure
--> cut spending doh.gif

page 19: increase min wage
--> assume higher wage is linearly proportionate to propensity to spend; lol it doesn't

page 20: no/less banggala
--> assume msian will take up the roles

anyhow, the whole book does not talk about economic policies, raw (and wrong) assumptions; mainly assuming good governance and less corruption can bring economic growth (sustainable)

In TL;DR, Pakatan-Whatever does not have any plans for the economy (i stopped reading halfway cause too much bullshit)

Well, i don't like BN either. But i surely wont support Pakatan-Whatever when they don't even have a plan for the future economy
