lol, in the other hand, the only xbox games i wanna play is Halo2+3(few years later) or even Halo Wars, y, coz MASTER CHIEF juz rocks. Lost planet seems cool

installed and played the Dx9 version. barely playable. at snow level, 38fps and 20fps in cave! 1280*720, HDR, 8XAF, no AA, mostly high setting but shadow resolution low. the blur effect seem like broken....

i like the animations, especially when equipped with Gatling gun. cool!!

dun worry with ur performance becoz this game is not optimized yet...

i also get the same msg but i manage to continue to play i think when the fps drop below 10, the game will display this msg.

my 6600 just cant handle this game...

Tested both DX10 and DX9 versions in Vista with 160.03 Beta drivers:

DX10 Performance Test: Snow=44 Cave=26
DX9 Performance Test: Snow=55 Cave=29

The tests weren't exactly the same. In DX10, there where more monsters where in DX9, those monsters were missing. Dunno why.

Even I got low fps in the cave performance test (23fps in cave test), but in the game, I can play this cave level with higher fps, (32fps). Weird.....

Overall, I say this game is awesome~ Its fun to play and the graphics make me drool~

The game has multi-threading. There's an option called 'Concurrent Operations' where you can set the number of processors/cores.

Yeah, I think so. but maybe in june I will switch my processor to E6420~

What do you think about the Image Quality? I personally say that 8800GTS snow looks very soft, and much better IQ than X1950pro. not to mention the performance~

the last boss in the snow cave is awesome.. texture and game wise. i dunno why this game got such low marks on the 360. prolly the control

this game lost planet does not support shader model 2.0 >.< feel bored now !!

Man feel like need quite high requirement on this game.
I'm using 7900gs, need to set 800x600 set full quality then only get 40++ average FPS .

I am running Lost Planet using a 7600GT on medium-high settings...around 15fps only.

But my problem is, even with absolutely lowest settings, all my controls have a ~1 second delay even though my fps is fast...wth. Anyone else have this problem? I'm running Windows XP, forceware version 94.24.

Hope the finished product won't be like that, otherwise im gonna miss out on alot of fun.

EDIT: Nvm, I think it's just the lag!

im playing with dx10 version... still cant get full optimize setting with my 8800GTS ... tis game req really crazy loh... wonder gtx or ultra can handle or not?
