If you read the Terms, it mentions "It is a yearly Renewable Policy which means, the policy is renewable at the option of the Company"

Should you stuck by illness this year and the company have the option not to renew it the next year. Think carefully when considering such insurance

You may be right.  I have an agent friend who sounded a little reluctant to entertain my queries on medical insurance, and insisted that I relook at my life insurance policy again.  I guessed probably the commission rate would be quite thin as well.

I am not surprised. Most agents do not like to sell medical card as it can be very troublesome when their client makes claim. They have to coordinate with the doctors, hospital staff, insurance company and the client in order to process the claims.
