QUOTE(sembilan @ Jul 3 2018, 10:30 AM) I finally got round to testing my battery on my P2 over the weekend. I fully charged the phone before i go to bed, and when i wake up around 7 hrs later, it drops 12% (on saturday morning). I tried it on Saturday night and when i woke up on Sunday, it dropped 10%. have u done a battery drain and then charge back to 100%?I turned off all running apps for the second test, not sure if it helps. Is 10 to 12% drop normal when idle? My normal usage is around 3hr plus screentime per day |

QUOTE(selphy @ Jul 2 2018, 10:53 PM) Awww bad luck dude. Your set is from T&L if i remember? Hope you are able to get a new replacement unit from them On another note, Android P DP4 has just been released! QUOTE(PopoPRP @ Jul 3 2018, 10:58 AM) Yes even during the initial configuration. Really potong stim. Other than that, everything else was perfect. Thankfully T&L FB already responded even though yesterday was HK public holiday so now just waiting for their email reply to proceed RMA. Hopefully all will be well. |

QUOTE(sembilan @ Jul 3 2018, 11:54 AM) Not sure if it is but the batt life for this phone has always been like that, for me have you tried switching off the phone completely and see if it will drain? i know i might get bashed for suggesting this, but a colleague of mine have such issue with his phone whereby he switch the phone off completely overnight at 100% and turn it on again in the morning and the battery drops around 10-15% Thats very low. I have WiFi turned on as well |

Initially I reckon it could be the daily backups that I set for middle of the night but I don't think it'll take that much energy. Won't know what's the cause until I carry out more tests I guess. The Pixel 2 is still a wonderful phone, just wished I wouldn't have to bring a powerbank when I go out after work. Having local support would have been wonderful, since I also cracked my back glass lol |

QUOTE(hussain @ Jul 5 2018, 11:50 AM) I think this has been discussed many times before but here is my thought. It depends on what you are after. If you want great camera with latest Android support for the next 2-3 years, go for Google Pixel 2. If you want great spec with affordable price, go for Oneplus 6. |

Just wanna share that even though I used Pixel 2 for just a brief moment, tested the mic with some guitar playing. The best thing was that there was no hissing sound, minimal at best comparing when recording with my OP5T or DSLR without any external mics. Nice job handling the white noise. Seriously impressed.
