lol, you all streamyx last time didn't keep on submit MCMC report to complain no unifi coverage. Everyday just sit in home and keep waiting without motivation. That's why until now are still using streamyx.
See I'm Sabahan here. Both my houses in KK and Sandakan already got unifi. Last time I was keep writing complain letter to MCMC. It is not that hard, just like writing a composition. Just tell them your story only. After several months of new PH government, then finally my Sandakan home got upgraded to Unifi.

QUOTE(kelvinkhaw01 @ Nov 20 2018, 12:12 PM) Everyone please do your part by writing in to MCMC to complaint streamyx for their high price and also non coverage to fibre infrastructure for unifi services...Some of us still suffering from lack of choice due to no fibre services coverage. MCMC is making a move by pressuring them already. I think we can write in mass complaint to MCMC !!! https://aduan.skmm.gov.my/ They will only keep quiet if no one write to MCMC. Here is the statement from MCMC to streamyx. https://www.lowyat.net/2018/173550/mcmc-tel...DueeLBpAqfHqoloWhere do you live? West Malaysia? I was complaint to MCMC for so many times back to few years ago. My house in Sandakan, Sabah was finally got Unifi at last month.

QUOTE(calta_xs @ Nov 18 2018, 07:08 PM) You mean I can just request to be placed under this RM129 plan? Or do you mean I have to cancel my current line and sign up a new line which is the RM129? The current Streamyx line is under a relative's name and he is now a Canadian citizen. The last time he came back was almost a decade ago and I doubt he will come back just to settle this matter. So I am hoping I can just request to be switched to 100mbps for RM129 instead of having to pay RM140 for 30mbps... Your current streamyx line is paying RM140 but why has 30mbps?

QUOTE(KaoruQing @ Nov 27 2018, 11:52 PM) After complaining to MCMC about no unifi coverage and unfair streamyx plan pricing, this is TM's response. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « TM is basically like "After our study, yeah you're right, we do confirm and agree with you that your place has no unifi, no plan from our side to bring unifi to you too, case closed". Also, TM totally ignore the unfair pricing issue part as well. Anyway, case reopened. btw, I'm in Jelutong, too bad TIME has no coverage at my place yet. Just re-open the MCMC report. Don't let it close. TM loss money already http://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/impa...y-loss-10-yearsThis post has been edited by junclj: Nov 28 2018, 10:48 AM

8mbps for one person use probably is still able to run smooth on Youtube 1080p but if you connect to more devices will lead to jam on the upload traffic. When your upload bandwidth is running full at 64KB/s, then you won't able to watch Youtube smoothly at 1080p because the upload speed is too crowded. Youtube server can't receive packets from your PC then will stop sending packets back to your PC. That's why still stop loading sometimes due to your streamyx upload bandwidth is overcrowded.
Why don't TM split it to 7mbps download speed with 1.5mbps upload speed or at least has 7.5mbps download speed with 1mbps upload speed? I saw that last time in Hong Kong, their PCCW ADSL broadband got divided their 8mbps bandwidth to 4mbps download and 4mbps upload for business user.

QUOTE(chenhui87 @ Feb 4 2020, 05:57 PM) do u using unifi tv pack? if not just demand to cancel it, ur price will become RM58. if they refuse to do so. lodge report to MCMC, this is wad i did last time to reduce my package from 88 to 69.. anyway they also cancel the hypptv service from my package. Not sure if Unifi can report to MCMC too? If I don't want the Unifi TV pack. I was requested from TM last time to cancel my Unifi TV plan, they refuse to cancel. So I was requested them to change plan from Aneka to Ruby without reduce or increase price. They immediately to add me 1 year contract. But nvm lah, its about last year case. My contract will due soon already, no more contract already. I hope to try to report to MCMC if this cancellation of Unifi TV is working for Unifi too?
