Hi, after me and hubby decided to try for baby, my period had changed. Previously I will have heavy flow for first 2 days and gradually lesser until it stop by day 5/6.

Now, I hardly get any blood flow out even on the first day. I'll only have blood flow when I go to washroom. The period cramp has become excruciating when the blood won't flow.

I think my period are 'stuck'. I went for a pap smear (when I am not having period) and the gynae was actually surprised when she took sample and blood clot starts flowing out. My pap smear report is out just now and there's no issue. It seems to me that the gynae rely a lot on pap smear check. The gynae is more famous for pregnancy check and baby deliveries.

I am thinking to find another opinion, perhaps gynae or fertility center to check my weird blood flow, if there's any 'blockage'. Anyone has any recommendation on doctor that specialises in checking for endometriosis or irregular issues? I am suspecting this as cause for I couldn't get pregnant after trying for one year.

From my previous experience at Hospital Putrajaya, govt hospital specialist clinics requires referral letter before they will let us see the specialist. Even with referral, due to the high number of patients, I doubt I will get a proper diagnosis.

Just a referral from the klinik kesihatan will do

No way I am going to govt hospital again. The doctors can't wait to get you out there fast enough without giving you proper diagnosis. As per last (stupid)doctor at surgical dept at GH Putrajaya quote "Unless you are in critical illness like cancer, we don't have time to diagnose you."
