Woot im gonna be a new member of the Xbox 360 community . Just did a rojak xbox 360 system. Console 2nd hand beli from singapore just RMAed RROD unit. PSU, and hdd from one LYN member, wireless controller and vga cable from another LYN forumer. Total damage : RM790 for a 2nd hand unit. Still 1.5 years left from singapore for RROD.

Gonna setup a 3 inlet 2 outlet air cooling setup with dust filter. Hopefully it'll be good enought to prevent RROD

Hehe its a smart move actually. It'll force ppl to go to their place hurrily cause scared out of stock. Like "ONLY 5 LEFT!" if got 50 ppl want to buy, all 50 ppl will try c ome as early as possible to get it

Hehe water cooler is better for cooling, but way more expensive and still doesnt totally gurantee x360 fix

Fan > water cooling > phase change cooling > nitrogen cooling

Question is, how much money, time, effort, and faith u have to upgrade cooling?

Anyway i've hooked up two 70mm fans on the rear of my xbox. Wonder whether it'll help or not. I think should use a fan shroud

Best solution? Wait for the replacement redesigned board *cross fingers*.

Else, do these :

1) Reball and resolder the CPU and GPU with higher quality tin and lead based solder
2) Replace xclamp
3) Increase the size of the GPU heat sink / water cool the GPU / CPU
4) Play pirated cause no more money to play ori after all those LOL

Sigh so lazy to go Singapore to fix my Xbox360 . How much would a Xbox360 3ROD, but still virgin, and still got abt 11 month warranty from Singapore is worth? Just the main unit.
