I'm a new user to the XBOX 360. I bought the Core Version, however I've purchased a HDD for it.

I just want to ask, mine is a modded version, and I came to know that I cannot use the XBOX Live if it's a modded version. Is this true?

If it is, is there anything I can do to rectify this limitation?
