Silent Hill 5 will spell a return to Silent Hill 2's direction and character behavior, according to series composer and SH4 producer Akira Yamaoka. Apparently, SH5 will be closer to SH2 "in the terms of the way the player is directed and the character's behavior." The camera style will also revert back to the traditional setup, instead of sharing the over-the-shoulder view from upcoming PSP adventure Silent Hill: Origins.
Which ought to be great news for any fans hoping for a return to the series' earlier, eerier and less run-and-bludgeon style gameplay.
Sorry, but it doesn't look likely. Time Crisis 4 will be coming exclusively to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 complete with a pretty sweet wireless gun, so say little, dirty birds. However, no Wii version is currently planned.

A gun-wielding robber demanding cash and a Playstation 3 from a Blockbuster grudgingly accepted an Xbox 360 when he found out that don't carry the Sony console, the London News reports.
Armed Man Consoled By 360 The hooded robber walked from the store with the 360 and a handful of games. Police arrived a good 20 minutes later.
Seriously, i really doubt about this..is it part of Microsoft marketing? Last time we got xb360 truck hijacked...now this?!

The latest issue of Game Informer features details on a new Square-Enix role playing game. That issue is now showing up in the mailboxes of subscribers and the magazine lovin' members of NeoGAF have begun to leak details on the game.
According to a post from NeoGAFer Sallokin, Square-Enix will release its single-player RPG The Last Remnant on "next generation platforms" which I'll assume means the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360. The Last Remnant will be the first title to use Epic's Unreal Engine 3 which the company announced it was licensing earlier this year.
The game is designed to appeal to both Japanese and Western gamers with two main playable characters tailored to each region's tastes. The Last Remnant is directed by Hiroshi Takai who previously worked on The Bouncer and Legend of Mana.
Hopefully, we'll learn more about the game when Ashcraft attends the Square-Enix Party 2007, only days away.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot puts players in the identity of Ethan Thomas, a former Serial Crimes Unit investigator. His former partner has gone missing, forcing him to be called back to duty. Ethan's disturbing past has left him a shell of his former self, described by SEGA as a "desperate burnout" who is forced to fight inner demons throughout his investigation.
The sequel will feature an new fighting system that adds defensive and offensive combos along with grapples and holds to the already present arsenal of firearms and blunt tools. New forensic tools are also being promised that allow murders to be solved in a number of different ways.
Perhaps the biggest surprise of the announcement is that Condemned 2: Bloodshot will include several online multiplayer modes, including a deathmatch variant. Get your arms ready to swing pipes online.
At todays Square-Enix conference in Japan, brand new RPG franchise named The Last Remnant got announced for Playstation 3 and Xbox360. Game will be powered by UE3 and released simuntaneously in Japan and US sometime next year. More details to follow later on.

While the unit we got to check out last night was not the final version that will ship later this summer, it is a pretty close approximation of what will be shipped to stores. The ChatPad snaps snugly onto the bottom of the controller. It's a pretty tight fit so you don't have to worry about accidentally knocking it off during gameplay. The unit isn't really that heavy and doesn't really impact the weight or balance of the Xbox 360 controller. I think this is something that a lot of people will snap on and leave on.
UK, May 23, 2007 - Codemasters has announced that a demo of the highly-anticipated Colin McRae: DiRT - featuring three different events and tracks - will be kicking up dust on Xbox Live Marketplace on May 24 and will also be available to download for PC the same day.
The demo will feature a Crossover challenge in which players must compete against driving legend Colin McRae, in a race around the Averlsbarhring in Germany. Both drivers will be buckled in behind the wheel of a Subaru Impreza WRX STI spec C, with McRae's ride adorned with his 2006 Summer X-Games No Fear livery.

Lastly, Xbox 360 owners can test their mettle on one of the game's hill climb events, steering Mitsubishi Evo IX up Arizona's Windy Point. If you're playing on PC, however, you can take on up to 100 other players (not simultaneously unfortunately) to get the best time on the Sardinian rally stage at Mounte di li Conchi.
