Juz now lightning strike, my console was off but my modem/router was on..now i cant connect to xbox live..always Network Adapter Disconnected or Ip Address Failed..But my PC and Laptop can connect to the internet..So i switch Lan Cable, Switch Port "My Router supports up to 4 Port " but still cant..so any solution should i try ??..My Pc can still be use..i think my 360 Port Kena Shot already la..

First check whether the router is ok. Pull every lan cables from the router and check the light indicator for each port. None were supposed to lit up. If it did, there's a probability that port is out.

Assuming every port is ok, connect the 360 to the router.

1) If there's no indicator for the corresponding port which the 360 connected to are lit up,...there's technically no signal from the 360.

2) Check the 2 lights at the 360 lan port. It supposed to lit up.

this is wat i tried..

1st i unplug all the lan cables..port number 2 still has light..others none..
2nd i plug it at port number 2 its still blinking..
3rd i see at 360 lan port Got only 1 Green light that is "Link"
4th i try signing in but ipaddress failed..
5th i unplug everything and restart my modem..
6th i try again at same port but still same result
7th i plug it into port number 3..no lights blinking at my router except for number2.
8th i see at 360 lan port got Red light "Link"
9th i i plug it at port number 4..no lights blinking except port number 2..
10th i see at 360 lan port only got 1 Red light "Link"
11th i try at port number 1..Port number 1 and 2 is blinking..
12th i see at 360 lan port got 1 Red light "link"

i try changing cable still same result..But my PC And Laptop is usable at those 4 Ports..

try manual connection such like alkt did it before.

it could be the ICS chip is dead. All thought it connected but the ip that want to connected might be dead.

btw, siebel... redapples' console got struck by lightning before, n now he's using wireless adapter. i guess thats the way to go if u still cant go online.

Hi guys. Just wondering. Other than warranty issues in getting an Xbox360 Elite from the US, are there anything else that I should worry and concern about? Currently, they have a promotion on circuitcity.com with Xbox Elite + Free Controller for the regular price. Two weeks ago, it even came with Fusion Frenzy 2. Missed that boat. After adding tax, it comes up to US$523.58 (approx. RM1,884). It will be a store pick-up and shipping charges free, as my nephew will be coming back for the summer holidays in early July. Am concern about region barring issues on XboxLive. Other than that, US games are more expensive than Asian releases. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.
