well it's entire up to him lah... same goes to others that flashed their 360. everyone knew the risk and up to them lah. everyone is an adult so consider mature enough to decide which is best or when is best or whatever... buying 360 doesnt mean have to be 100% playing on xbox live, it can be offline too lah. yes, with xbox live it rocks but not everyone got broadband at home also...

if you are not happy with someone using a flashed 360 then dont play with him/her lah. remove them from your friendlist... that's it. unless you still not satisfied then sue him/her till they drops their pant/skirt!

again, sometimes ppl also got difficulties along their journey and just cant afford originals during that time. so off course he/she must think of a best short time solution so if they decided to flashed/modded then let it be. who knows after the difficulties period he/she might be back again 100% original. if kena ban also it's their risk so up to them lah.

lastly, bro xrated please stop posting telling everyone that you can afford this and that and yet you choose to buy ahem games because of your own beliefs. you are insulting others that bought ori with their hard earned money... you decided on your own then go on lah have some respect on others. also same goes to the other way around... ori users dont just think those flashed/modded owner just do it for fun... some really tight on budget.

conclusion, it's your life up to you to decide what/which is best. when you decided just dont blame on others.

Just got my xbox last Saturday from DjiNn . I got the holiday bundle with N3 and PGR3
Thanks to DjiNn for answering all my questions.
Didn't get to test it out until Sunday evening though. When I did get to play with it, it was marvelous!!!
I was bloody shivering when connecting the xbox to the tv.
Hope to get on live soon to game with you xbox veterans.

But I have some probs with the display on my TV.
The display seems stretched as I cannot see the edges of the dashboard.
I change already the display settings on the cable and in the xbox settings to TV and normal but it is still stretched a bit.
Is it because of the TV it self or is there anything else I need to change for the display.
I'm so sad cause I cannot see the who screen of the games

tried all ready. set the output of the cable to TV.
Then change the settings in xbox dashboard to normal display.
but still seems a bit stretched. Not much around 1-2 inch on both sides of the dashboard.

i'm also using a SDTV (china brand) via component.- it can support widemode.

if i set the 360 to 480i standard mode - the dashboard is stretched/overscan by quite a bit

if i set the 360 to 480i wide mode - the dashboard also "stretched"

funny thing is that my ps2 doesn't do that in standard/wide mode, so the setting problem is coming from the 360. the scaler is doing a bad job resizing for SDTV. when play using VGA on pc monitor, the image is perfect no overscan

Maybe its the compatibility with the TV brand??
But thats not supposed to be an issue rite?
By the way I was using an LG TV. A few years old already.
The permanent TV would be a Toshiba Bomba, also a few years old.
Is there any issue with older CRT flat screen TVs?

i don think so lo... Samsung around 3 yr old ok wat...
