In the midst of WCG.my madness two weeks ago, we finally got a reply from Championship Gaming Series. In the e-mail, CGS's Director of Player Relations, Tonya Welch confirmed that there will be a CGS Qualifier in Malaysia. No extra details are given except that it will happen around early October. Apart from that, Tonya also stated that all qualifiers are regional and have regional citizenship requirements. That means CGS Malaysia qualifier opens to Malaysians only.
Well worth the wait I must say. To refresh your mind, the official games for CGS are:
1. PC Games:
* Counter Strike: Source
* FIFA Soccer 07
* World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade
2. Xbox 360
* Project Gothan Racing 3
* Dead or Alive 4 (male and female category)
In case you are wondering why CGS have been a hot topic among our eSports athletes, consider this: the chance to be a pro-gamer complete with monthly salary, competing live in TV and USD 1,000,000 prize money purse at CGS World Championship in Los Angeles. Do I need to say more?

Win this and there is still a Pan Asian Qualifier to compete in, the top 4 in Asia will go to LA to play in the World Championship.
