Hi all, thanks for viewing my humble thread/poll. So here's my dilemma;

I happen to have 100k cash, menabung dari kecil.

So now I'm planning to buy a car, lol obviously lah this is FnF thread fgs.

So i got my eyes on the new CR-V, walao looks very masculine like me. Very padan.

But then I look at my bank account, not so masculine anymore, only manly tears flow out. Only can afford BR-V / HR-V only.

But HR-V very feminine, opposite of what I really am, being a muscular man, a macho manly masculine and many more u get the picture.

BR-V is ok, but when u compare to CR-V, u know la how is it right? I have test driven the BR-V, well so-so only.

So u know, I'm a die hard fan Honda. Yes I'm an old unker but young at heart. So don't go tell me angkat toyota la better, proton la mitsu la blablabla I wont buy that sh*'"t.

So come help me decide is it worth it to loan 40k for the new CR-V or do I settle for less and no loan, no headache.

It's difficult to give good advice without knowing all of your information.

If you have saved up RM100k, you should absolutely not spend it on a car.

Property is a bad investment at the moment. The Malaysian property market is unstable right now.

You would be better off putting the money in a mutual fund and taking a full loan if you really want a CRV.

the new CX-5 diesel turbo much more powerful..
also more premium then CRV for sure, better handling, and fuel consumption its a diesel engine which need to use Euro 5 diesel only.. normal diesel can but not good for engine in long term.. the looks also hermm, just check it out ya..
Mazda CX-5 link

but please dont throw all rm100k for down-payment.. rm30-40k downpayment is good enough already with 5-7 years loan for the balance..

There is no need to buy a car cash. Almost everybody takes a car loan and interest rates are quite attractive. Even if you have the money paying in cash may not be the best financial option. Learn to leverage on loans and use the cash for something else.

I always find those muscular gym rat man driving the Ford Ranger more muscular than mainstream SUV like CRV.

HRV more for lean teenagers who just start working out at the gym.

CRV for those uncle with big tummy

Ford Ranger with the massive body kit hmmm for the real muscle man smile.gif

CX5 otoh for the metrosexual who cares a lot of their face skin hair and body hahahaha

My suggest, no need to spend those money into a new car cost u 140k. after few years price dropped ( if you don't mind then go for it )

young heart good. spend those money to go travel , see more things , walk around.

BR-V cost you cheaper and of course take loan better, no need to pay 100k as down payment. smile.gif

if you have a house already and financially good, go for CR-V.. How many years you would enjoy the car you wish to drive.

Today is present, tomorrow is mystery
