QUOTE(xhakox @ Jul 14 2019, 01:43 PM) I think there is only the official router firmware at their product page. Is it possible to force update the firmware? Try Padavan firmware, known as the best 3rd party firmware for MTK platform, they have good support for DIR882

https://www.acwifi.net/7629.htmlIf you can read Chinese, sorry I can't seems to find any guide in English. The steps is like enter recovery mode > flash DD-WRT > flash breed > flash Padavan, you will need WinSCP and Putty to have these steps done, might sounds complicated but just follow the guide and it's pretty simple

QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Jul 14 2019, 10:48 PM) Should be, but do it at your own risk. I think it can be done by holding reset button and turn on the router, keep holding the button for 10 secs and release, set your PC IP to 192.168.0.x, then open the webpage 192.168.0.1, this will enter the recovery mode But do it at ur own risk for sure
