do ghosts have to walk on land just like us or can they float in the air, flying around?

can ghost pass through walls?
how about human body? if a human walk towards a ghost unknowingly, will he pass right through the ghost? can ghost suddenly disappear and reappear in another location? like teleporting? if it is raining, will rains fall right through the ghost like hitting nothing before reaching ground?
