they could speak any language. german, malay,japanese whatever. but many make intagible noises. the one near my gym has long hair(but it's not a spirit) and make screeching sounds. several times, they scare me by appearing right in front of my face in the morning when I woke up.

oh and they could shapeshift as well. into movie characters,etc...
