Laptop criteria:

1. Screen size 14” (must)
2. Light weight 1.5-1.9kg (must)
3. Battery 10 hours
4. RAM 8GB
5. i3/i5 will do
6. Optical disk drive NOT require
7. Fingerprint (must)
8. Prefer SSD
9. Type-C USB (optional)
10. Good after service

The best fit model I can find for now is Dell Vostro 5468, price at RM3399:
http://www.dell.com/my/p/vostro-14-5468-la...-14-5468-laptop

Another model I found, price at 2799:
https://www.lazada.com.my/lenovo-ideapad-32...=&mp=1&rs=72629

any other suggestion?

P/S: I heard many say dell has good after service, I experienced it myself too, however, I will prefer to have a flawless laptop that never require any after service. I have a dell in the past, called them a few times to fix my laptop, dell responded to my call and fix the problems.
On the other hand, My friend who is using Asus, has never face any issue after 5 years of using it, never need to fix anything, isn’t that better ?

Every brand has their own lemon units. It depends on your luck tbh. People says Lenovo sucks but my y480 still kicking after 5 years without a single problem. Everyday abuse it by running analysis and some photo/video rendering work.

Your question is hard to answer. But if I'm you, I would go for Dell if I have more to spare. biggrin.gif
