UPDATE 12/4/2008: Glad to say that all 3 dogs have been adopted. Thanks to all that have inquired.

Got this in my email today:

QUOTE
My colleague's neighbour committed suicide on Saturday and left behind 3 dogs, they are now in boarding waiting for good homes.

2 Shih Tzu (Male - one eye blind & Female)
1 Pug (3 years old)

Please let me know if someone you know would like to take them in. Currently, another neighbour is paying for the boarding for these dogs coz afraid the police will them to the pound.

This is true story...i'm not joking and story can be found in papers.

The story:
QUOTE
KUALA LUMPUR: A couple, believed to be tuition teachers, were found dead in their home in Jalan Medang Tanduk, Bukit Bandaraya, Bangsar.

The 50-year-old local woman was found hanged in the second floor bathroom of the three-storey terrace house while her 55-year-old Japanese husband was found on the floor of another bathroom on the third floor.

A 13-year-old girl who had gone to the house for her regular tuition class at 3pm yesterday found the house unlocked and walked into the premises.

Failing to get a response from the couple after calling out their names several times, she decided to look for them.

She found the woman hanging by a piece of cloth from the ceiling of the bathroom and informed the couple’s neighbours.

Police later found the man with strangulation marks on the neck.

City police chief Senior Asst Comm II Ku Chin Wah said police believed that the woman had found her husband 24 hours after he had hanged himself and brought him down before hanging herself.

“We have not found any elements of foul play,” he said, adding that two notes, one written in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese were found. He declined to reveal the contents of the notes.

Their bodies were sent to the University Malaya Medical Centre for a post-mortem.
