Found this purebreed roaming around my housing area near the main road. It was very scared and timid. Took it home because was worried that this dog may get hit by car. Suspect that the previous owner mistreated the dog and it ran away/owner kicked it out (based on the dog's behaviour when it arrived). I can tell the prospective owner about more about this dog's candid behavior when it arrived.

Anyway, a bit about the dog's behavior. This dog is a very intelligent dog, and always looking for attention and love. Hoping to find a good owner for this dog as we have taken care of it for close to 1 year. The previous owner did not bother to claim it back or post any lost notices. It is very obedient and knows how to sit when commanded. This dog is suitable to be put inside the house or outside. This dog loves to go for a walk and if you leave the gate open, she will fly out your gate to smell the grass outside. But it is very intelligent and it knows how to come back home. Very adorable dog, and would make a great house pet.

Conditions for adoption:
1) Would like to meet up the owner to get to know the owner
2) Would like to be able to check up on the dog after adoption once in a while
3) The prospective owner is from within Selangor/KL with landed property.
4) Financially stable and able to commit time to play with the dog, bring it for walks, etc.

Other things would be discussed during the interview/meet-up with the prospective owner

MALAYSIAN DOGS DESERVE BETTER will hold its monthly adoption drive at the SUMMIT SUBANG JAYA this Sunday, March 14.


We currently have 50 over puppies and dogs looking for homes and expect to bring at least 40 of them there.

A large number of the puppies and dogs will be those rescued from the Klang and Selayang pounds.

The adoption drive would be held from 11.00am to 7.00pm near the Starbucks entrance.

Those who want to drop off donations in kind such as rice, dog food, shampoo and towels could also do so at the adoption drive.

To anyone in Melaka, would you like to adopt 2 dogs? I'm helping someone to look for an adopter. They will be put down to sleep if there are no adopters. Even if you can't adopt them, fostering could be an option while you find for an adopter. -Every 2 months, bring him to vet for his tooth and nail trimming. The reason is his tooth will out grown over the time and if you didnt bring him to vet to trim it, he wont be able to eat.

-He really need alot of your patience, love and care. Attention for experience rabbit owner who knows how to take care of rabbits. If you need footy just to accompany your kids or toddlers, or let your kids to play around with, please dont adopt. Footy is not a toy.

-Toilet-train. You can even let him to roam around your living room.

-Need space to roam around everyday or every alternate day. It is best that you have our own garden/landed property for him to do his binkies

-Footy will shed every 3 months or so, so you have to bear with the fur. That's why cover yard is the best place to place him. No no outside the house because rain and hot sun, they will die.

Footy was adopted was he was posted few months ago. Sadly, his adopter wont be able to take care of him anymore due to school work and other activities. And she sent it back to me. Actually this is my request when she first adopted footy. I told her to give footy back to me if somehow due to whatevery unforseen reason that she wont be able to take care of him anymore. It is better than she simply chunk it somewhere else that I have no idea who he/she really is.

The main reason why footy was being put up for adoption is because I've just delivered a baby. My baby is sensitive to fur ( as footy will shed every 3 months) and I have no where to put him. My apartment is just 900sqft. Thus he is being constraint 24/7. This is not good for rabbit as they need space to run and exercise. It is not easy being parted with footy but I have no other choice. Dont mention that I'm being pressured by the elderly on how not to have small animals together with baby.

Please only commit if you have the time and care as he need highly attention

Due to the different kinds of pets i have, i have failed to play with them often. My other pets seems to need more attention. So im hoping they can get a better life with a better owner. They are too tame, and will not even bite a child. I have raised them since they were small. Bubu is a Golden Banded syrian. His fur is short. Jasper is a long haired syrian - sable banded. I require you to read up on their habitat and living ways before sending me a PM. I have the right to refuse if i find you as not a suitable candidate.

You are required to self collect in Sunway. Since syrians are solitary animals, both cannot go to the same home. Else you will need to prepare 2, 2 ft tanks for them.
