Well played Chelsea. Azpi was your best player and Salah ours. They were both insane tonight.

Mou will try the same tactic vs ars, press city in the half and hope can get 1-2 goal

If they park the bus from beginning, they must not lose or else their fans gonna blame mou's tactic

But they don't have Pogba. If you watched the United v Arsenal match, you might remember how every counter attack by United were orchestrated by Pogba. Defence will clear the ball to Pogba near the halfway line, 2 runners in Martial and Lingard will sprint on both flanks ahead of Pogba to give him passing options. Really wonder what will happen now that he's out.

How can like that, unless the draw is fixed the chance is 33% for all 3 team
*
There are several rules in play here. Country protection meaning you can't draw against a club from the same domestic league. Group stage protection that means you can't draw against clubs from the same CL group stage. And group winners are drawn against group runner ups.

From Chelsea's perspective because of a 2nd place finish and other English clubs all finished first and due to country protection, it severely limits Chelsea's options. Out of the 7 group winners 4 are English clubs which leaves Chelsea with 3 options. Similarly the percentages are altered depending on the conditions of the possible teams that Chelsea could draw, in this case it's Barca. Barca finished first meaning they can only draw against group runner ups, but Real Madrid and Sevilla both finished 2nd yet could not be drawn against Barca once again due to country protection. That is why the possibility of Barca facing Chelsea is further bumped up.

Buy striker from Italy

Belotti is probably the best striker in Italy you can buy.

Really strange performance from stoke. They didn't even put up a fight.

Easiest game of our season and it's a good end to the year. More matches like this please!

They have another match in less than 48 hours against Newcastle, which is much more winnable than against Chelsea. It's understandable they don't put as much effort into this match.

21 of @ChelseaFC's 37 @premierleague goals this season have been scored by Spanish players, more than any other side in Europe's big 5 leagues

Chelsea outgrown PL, moving to La Liga next season.

Can't believe palace didn't convert that late penalty to win the game vs city. Haiizzzz.

Losing both Jesus and De Bruyne is much more costly than the 3 points had the penalty gone in.

Fair point. All the teams below them are basically clutching at straws now. Not much left to fight for except second place, which is just sad.
*
Exactly. Even if City slowdown now the title race is pretty much over.

Looking at how Pep has them playing this season, they have a genuine shot at CL this season. But long term injuries to KdB and Jesus will be a huge blow for them.
