QUOTE(avrilmae @ Oct 26 2017, 04:14 PM) Just out of cusriosity, is there a special reason for people taking home the placenta and burying it in the garden? hmm. mainly i think the reason is because it is part of the human body and should be buried i guess. its something that helped the child grow and also a part of the mother. and i suppose should be given some respect instead of just discarded into the medical bin. i suppose its just a traditional thing. |

Cannot say one people is more better than the other because his placenta was buried in a sacred place. lol |

QUOTE(Jiken Chop @ Jan 29 2018, 02:05 PM) then why bring all the way back from hospital to your own house? Symbolic gesture that your child left over is bringing life to another form and will grow together as your child growswont jst bury those left over food would give the same result - minus the hassle of bringing it home Nothing religious or culture behind it |

QUOTE(Jiken Chop @ Jan 29 2018, 02:50 PM) but its only placenta. how can that be symbolic? placenta is the only mechanism that protects and feeds your baby for 9 months, its the interface between the mother and child...that's like saying our toe nails should be treated the same as well. how u compare placenta and toe nails is beyond me, anyways im out, not gonna feed ur trolling |

QUOTE(Jiken Chop @ Jan 29 2018, 02:05 PM) then why bring all the way back from hospital to your own house? dude, the result is not big deal but we are talking about own-comfort-level to bury at own house or leave it to someone to do the job...wont jst bury those left over food would give the same result - minus the hassle of bringing it home what is the fuss anyway... it just simply tells me you would rather to do the hand job yourself than asking your partner to do it for you, same result? nay..... What an analogy...LOL. what is the fuss anyway... it just simply tells me you would rather to do the hand job yourself than asking your partner to do it for you, same result? nay..... I would think the hospital would dispose of the placenta accordingly right? Provided you go to a proper hospital, that is... |
