QUOTE(ykgen @ Oct 16 2017, 01:18 AM) My Facebook app crashed when I played too much with the camera features. Instagram also crashed very often. Gmail alert always come later than my iPad Weird, my s8 plus so far no problem nor experienced any crash before. Both s8 and s8 plus also 4gb ram?But I do restart my phone if I feel my phone starts to lag. I do have the optimise widget on my home screen to constantly release memory and put unused apps to sleep. My normal practice is to turn off phone once every 4-5 days to charge for an hour when I wake up. Works like charms for me 😄 This post has been edited by elru: Oct 16 2017, 10:34 AM |

QUOTE(delsoo @ Oct 16 2017, 01:37 PM) Anyone here using X-one screen protector ? Is it full coverage type ? I would like to hear some review .. I can only say, why paid for something so expensive and still need to torture yourself? Worst part is, it's not scratch resistant, especially fingernails.. Else it's over priced.Funny thing is, after the seller help me to applied, only then he told me try not to scratch it with finger nails 😅😴 lesson learnt the hard way 🤣 |

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Oct 25 2017, 09:46 AM) XONE is a nono. Very bad, not worth your money at all. Agreed. X-one is darn frustrating once u put it on. Imagine can be scratched by fingernails 😑 if you have the budget, better go for clear coats if prefer SP. Make sure you wipe the smudges of the sensor as well, it can affect the speed. But generally I find it faster than previous Samsung devices. At least they improve on this cause their sensor used to be horrible. The scanner also won't recognise ur print if it's sweaty. QUOTE(bluestolks @ Oct 25 2017, 10:21 AM) I dont see a point reseller want to check what inside. Exactly. I bought mine thru lazada also sealed box. And it's weird to me if it's not registered under my name. If it's rejected, that's between the seller and his previous buyer. Unless his listing put there big big "used set" and offer at lot cheaper price lar. if anything happen to the phone, buyer still need to send the phone to SME , not to them. I guess some hanky panky exchange u-know-i-know sure happen one. This post has been edited by elru: Oct 25 2017, 11:17 AM |

One Utama doing note 8 road show at oval new wing. Their note 8 FE size almost similar like s8 plus, with a pen, and not infinity screen because of the home button & Samsung logo.
Note 8 dual camera is darn nice.. Makes me feel like upgrading it. Hope the new "portrait" mode is release sooner for s8 series. |

Actually I'm quite surprised that note 8 battery capacity is only 3300mAh compared to s8 plus 3500mAh, while s8 is 3000mAh.
Also my opinion is that samsung phones has a lot of software preloaded usually youngsters like us will explore (Samsung pay, mySamsung, Samsung health.. Etc) thus consuming lots of power by default. As for elderly ppl like my in laws for an example, they love xiao mi phones, as they have bigger fonts, simpler user interface & less preloaded apps. BTW, you can always put those apps to sleep manually, once and for all. Like those lazada, 11st, digi, mySamsung, Samsung Internet, waze... Etc which I don't really need them to work in background for latest notifications. This might save some batt juice. This post has been edited by elru: Oct 25 2017, 10:42 PM |

QUOTE(cradle0fFilth2 @ Oct 27 2017, 05:27 PM) i feel u, bruh.. but the phone ocd me cant resist to click that device maintenance daily. hahaha Before I put all those apps to sleep, my rams always below 1gb and runs even lower during heavy usage. But after I put most of them to sleep, seems like my ram always at least 1++gb and heavy usage usually will leaves about 800mb. The duration of device maintenance seems shorter too. Or maybe it's just that feel good factor makes believe lol but i do think you are right, i read this a few times somewhere that android RAM management doesnt require us to clear RAM / kill task manually. Thus, i never install app like task killer and etc but.. but.. those 'junk' and cache..... |
