So i've been using this monitor since 2009 and about a few months back I started seeing white dots at the top portion of my monitor. Today it was worse I see scratched like lines on it. i've never used any hard substance to wipe it or even anything with liquid. Only use those anti static soft cloths.

What usually cause these? Magnets?

They is nothing you can do about it. Your monitor is reaching it life span.

The white dot will continue spreading and soon to the entire screen later.

Prepare money for purchase new monitor as this monitor is soon going to unusable.
