As per topic,
i want to learn hokkien, and help others who are interested here with some simple hokkien phrases... no bad words or ill kick you...
here are some example words, please come teach :
1. Hello = Ooi 2. See you later = ai zao liao 3. Thank you. = gam sia 4. Im glad to hear that. = U iya bo ~ 5. How Are you ? = lu ho bo ? 6. Have you eaten ? = jia ba bui 7. Eat well = Chia kah pa 8. Eat until fat = Chia kah pui (pui) (double for playful) 9. i invite you drink tea, ok or not ? = wa eh sai chia lu lim teh boh ? , quick version = chia lu lim teh, on bo? 10. sui char bo = pretty girl / lady 11. lau char bo = old lady
add more as we learn...
