Interesting, I was told by my friend stay in gombak, the developer of this project GG already, and buyer received SMS said the construction is on hold

heard a rumor from a property friend that this project is officially abandoned by the developer.

Another friend of mine actually bought this and currently the monthly payment.

A question here is what can the buyers do in this kinda situation? Continue to pay the loan for 35 years or will other developers come in to takeover, but who's gonna come in to do free work?

Wait government appoint white knight to helping this project, otherwise all owner (fully sold is not it?) come out money to completed the project.

For a worst solution, if your friend still planning to buy house with loan, suggestion can get all those house loan & car loan immediately. After secure another house (subsale I believe he is forbidden to undercon already) for stay. Then can intentionally just stop paying this house interest until it revival (but of course please save the money for feature needed.

He mentioned salary was not high, car and house already maxed out DSR. Some more need to pay rent, really cham.

But why would a white night want to help this project if no money to be made though, unless gov subsidizes? doesn't seem like any action from the gov side yet...

Because this is rumahwip, not fully private, so government will still involved to help. Of couse white Knight will help even just breakeven cost, because you know wah, to get build new project approval, it's need to go through government department, so mingle good with government will never be a bad decision.

I thought rumahwip is just a requirement imposed by the government for developers to build other things instead of government involving in the building process?
