I'm having the same problem. MBB customer service is clueless. I went to HSBC branch after speaking to CS 3 times, still no answer.

In the IB website, they ask for SWIFT/BIC code of the correspondent bank. Where do u key in the ABA number? Since ABA is a series of numbers instead of letters, I can't key it in where it ask for SWIFT/BIC code.

Does anybody know the SWIFT/BIC code for correspondent bank for either maybank or or hsbc malaysia?
