Being a club's supporter is not just about basking in the club's glory, but to stay on the ship in a weathery storm as well. And knowing the history of your club is so much more important, if a player for yor club play for money and success, but not to honour the club's proud history and tradition, will you support him as much as a player who is also the club's supporters? There are many reasons being a supporter, the most common and i dare say ALL (if you do not come from the place your club is based) support their team because of their glory, be it past or present. But from there on, how far have you progressed in knowing your club's tradition, history and understanding how the club operates on and off field, is what a true fan should be all about.
