Any suggestion for mainly gaming?

Currently watching for Acer ED273A and BenQ Zowie XL2411Z...but dont know which to choose
Mainly for playing Dota2 and PUBG.

Acer ED273A if not mistaken is 144hz 4ms VA panel, while BenQ one is 144hz 1ms TN panel. For me I'd go for Acer's since VA should produce better colour than TN's

the monitor is still new..most of the online review is not the ED273A .. I'm waiting for review as well lol

Do you have any experience with 4ms and 1ms? big difference?

First time having 144hz monitors so it feels really nice for me to transit from 60hz to 144hz. 144hz display port, hdmi only 120hz.

Compare to IPS (I have used Dell IPS for straight 5 years, best monitor brand ever..) , VA is still abit behind but I guess it's better than TN based on a lot of reviews? I stayed away from TN panel.

I was going to get the samsung cfg70 but I heard a lots of problems like purple trail and overshooting so I hold off until this ED273A came out.

The stand is REALLY REALLY sturdy to my surprise so no worries on wobbling.

I haven't used 1ms panel before so I couldn't comment on the 4ms GTG stuff but it feels alright so far.

I guess it takes some time for me to get used to 27 monitor because it feels kinda big right now. I need to adjust the distance.

Again, its 1080p on 27inch so if you're really picky on the sharpness/ dpi, check out a demo unit first.

Another thing is that blacks is nice. Used to IPS glow haha.

Hey man same here as well. I mean I see the review they say they have integrated speakers. I also keep trying for speakers when I got my monitor.
Then I see this say no speaker :/


I know behind the monitor there are holes that look like it's for speakers. Just weird that why is it there.

so yeah ... a bit down on that, but still beautiful monitor for the price nonetheless.

EDIT : heavy arm website didn't say anything about speaker. Just audio out port.

ah...okay...i just plug in my external speaker will do...can switch between headphones and speaker easily now
