Give bank statement to loan officer at bank, too much detail in the statement

hi all, i printed my bank statement and ready to submit to Bank loan officer. But I think my bank statement has too much details like total saving amount and all credit and debit amount. It is necessary to submit this bank statement with full details?? please advise sekalian, tq you.

The main important point is that it shows your salary paid to your bank account.
It's not advisable to blank out info as your bank statement will be used for audit purpose just in case you are trying to fraud the bank
Otherwise there is nothing much to worry about unless you're doing something illegal

They need to check if you have the income which you claimed you have, then less importantly the cash flow you have to assess if you will be able to make prompt payments. If you want to minimise the details shown then you do minimal activities with that account, and conduct all your transactions using cash you saved under your bed, so you can achieve a 3-month statement with minimum details.

I wonder why too. What could the bank or the bank officer do if they know his total debit or credit? Weird thinking.

I think the bank is more worried whether to loan you their money than you worrying about your bank statements. Remember .... you request for a loan ... and who needs money .
