Just found Russell is actually doing a Verstappen 2019, the race result consistent Top 5 while Ferrari with rocket engine vs Mercedes that year.

Recently saw a few reports Ferrari got some reliability concern on their PU, Ferrari and a few customer teams experienced various failure on recent races. Hope it won't stopping them from fighting with Red Bulls.

Did Ferrari overboosting their PU to fight Red Bull super straight-line speed? Since Barcelona suddenly many issues

Damn..  almost missed the race. Double retirement for Ferrari doh.gif
*
Red Bulls double retirement at Qatar race due to standard spec fuel pump issue, not affecting their PU usage, so far Honda PU still reliable since last year...

Ferraris double retirement today will definitely affecting their PU allocation pool and big question on the reliability too.

ferrari have good reliability in this few years but guess this year push something too far

good start to the year giving us hope its gonna be championship fight but looks like RB gonna easily run away and have a huge lead by mid season in both championship

fun while it lasted lol but reality RB gonna dominate for few years
*
Correct, already predicted last year Red Bull starting 2021 - 2024 sweeping the championship. Last year can see Mercedes losing their usual aura and this year totally sink.

Today's racing is quite boring, maybe just Mercedes getting 3-4 and few overtaking actions from Hamilton. Gonna stop watching and do other stuff...

Recent consecutive championship for each major changes

1. William 90's
2. Ferrari - 2000's
3. Red Bull - 2010-2013
4. Mercedes -2014-2021
5 . ?

1. William 90's

3. Red Bull - 2010-2013
4. Mercedes -2014-2020
5. Red Bull - 2021-2024 minimum

Fixed. Actually last year Red Bull almost sweeping most races with their super straight-line speed, Max no doubt would be champion earlier if not hit by Hamilton and Bottas on 2 races. The dire Mercedes has to resort to overboosting their engine or modified rear wing to have rocket speed to kept the championship alive after Mexico.

Walrus Williams BMW design during early 2000s also like that, but they ditch it in mid season when found not working.

Meanwhile Mercedes still believe in sidepod-less design and stubborn stay with it

They can get a couple new engine and then turn the damn thing up. Still can salvage 2nd or 3rd depending on circuit.
*
Problem is Ferrari's PU seems to be more fragile, when they started turn the thing up in Barcelona, even with fresh second PU combo Leclerc already failed to complete the race!

Last year Mercedes's spicy engine mode at least can sustain 2-3 race distances...

I think Ferrari can only tune back their engine as in initial races, and hope to be competitive in non-power demanding tracks like Monaco etc, but still they can throw away the wins in strategy call, lol

Hahaha yeah, or at least some elbows out! Lol

Leclerc himself also need to do Hamilton's superb Silverstone trademark touching rear tyre of Max, causing him to crashes while he getting win, lol.

looks like porpoising war heating up lol

I kinda agree with Horner's black flag to unsafe cars with extreme porpoising problem, you either add height or goes slower, or risks of race disqualification. Don't expect FIA to help la.

I wonder if a driver can overpower the car if nature didn't get involved.

Alonso is also over 40 and could retire anytime. I wonder if anyone want to invest in this young man.
*
Only occasional wins but hard to get championship, refer the Max Verstappen 2019 & 2020 impressive performance.

Too bad about 2007 then. If only Ron didn't favour his favourite boy, we might not get Mercedes domination for the past 8 years. MSC could be adding more to his 7th titles.
*
How MSC can add more titles? He retired for Kimi to onboard Ferrari 2007 right? Some said it was Ferrari president pressure him to give seat to Kimi

Brawn brought Schumi to Mercedes. Schumi could be battling Nico for the WDC instead of LH. Also he would have avoided the skiing accident.
*
Oh you meant the 2014 season instead...
But that's not guaranteed coz MSC already old and not so sharp instinct during the second comeback period, quite many silly mistakes, just like Hamilton 2021, it could've been Rosberg dominating the championship if Hamilton not joining.
