As usual, GR63 problem is tyre management. He overcooked the tyres. LH44 was much faster in the final 3 laps. If GR63 crashed 2 laps earlier, LH44 might get a chance.

He is controlling the pace too much... 1:40 with medium... 1:40 with hard.

I think Mercedes should have pitted the first vsc lap, but waited another lap and by the time they came out, its green again... otherwise the advantage would be huge.

I just think he needs to cool down during the outlap... he's sliding more than Lewis despite Lewis caught up to him faster than they did with CL16.

Unfortunately Ferrari is so awesome on the straight that CS55 easily gave GR63 and LN4 a tow without breaking a sweat.

Might have kept 2nd but I doubt GR63 can challenge MV33... Max is basically cruise mode after 15-20 laps judging from past races. RB19 is just too dominant like Mercedes once was, setting up car for races instead of qualy.

SP11 pace is not real pace of the RB car. You cant based that on just Max outstanding performance when it happened on so many tracks. I dare to say no teams would kept a slower team mate by over 1s. SP mental just isnt in the spot right now after seeing Max outdrive him ever since Miami (IIRC). Deep down he must have grudge against his team for favoring Max in the car development. Max looks so uncomfortable in the first couple of races where SP11 shined. For me, I would have guessed either SP is sulking or just another scheme from RB to make Max outperform the car so that FIA dont clamp down on them like what they had done with Mercedes over the years when they are like 2s faster in the beginning of turbo hybrid era.

Hahaha... instead of OLD, I would say LH44 isnt the same after he got covid previously. Ever since he came back from covid, I felt like he looked exhausted everytime he came out of the car after races. Not sure the bouncing took its toll on his body or what, but if you look at CL/MV/GR/CS/SP, they dont look breathless. Just look at FA... he's quick over 1 lap for sure, but if you look at his race pace, not that amazing really. Often times, he looking to keep others behind rather than increasing the gap to others.

Yes, LH made the error but Mercedes should have intercepted even before the race if they want to disturb MV pace, like other youtubers have pointed out. If they want to attack MV, definitely LH on the soft has the better chance to disrupt the race by overtaking MV during the first 2 laps and back him into GR. Instead, GR moved over to cover LH which is also puzzling since GR should know all damn well LH is basically sitting duck when the soft is gone in 3 laps based on the sprint race result.

He had a decent race... that 1 stop though was probably a mistake by AT. Look at where he qualified vs DR.

Instead of saying building car to suit one driver, I think GR63 probably have limited input to offer.

The way I see it is some drivers like LH44, SP11 want a certain feel in their car whereas newer generation like GR63, MV33, CL16 are trying different approach on how to maximize what you are being provided.
