QUOTE(adrian0229 @ Aug 26 2018, 10:05 PM) Yeah it's boring because the other top contenders were taken out (Kimi) and starting from the back (Bottas). The DRS is also too powerful/activation zone too early. QUOTE(sphiroth @ Aug 26 2018, 10:32 PM) Haha... True true. All those talk of being a "racer" in the end just talk. Well Ham knew he couldn't catch Seb so why risk damaging the engine? Kimi should easily git podium if he didn't dnf. Judging by how his speed was up to Q2 plus his record historically at Spa, Kimi actually had a chance of not just podium but actually winning as well, just for Ferrari to screw up his qualifying and the bad luck of getting hit. QUOTE(voscar @ Aug 26 2018, 11:03 PM) Worry what? It's well known since Australia Mercedes already pointed out Ferrari has straight line speed advantage. If Ferrari or Seb do not screw up again, and that is still a big possibility especially knowing how Ferrari often did that. They really have no more margin of error now in order to win the title and that's their main challenge now, try got things done cleanly from now on.Upcoming Monza Ferrari will win by minimum 20 seconds margin. |

I actually think that merc and ferrari are quite equals in term of performance. Just the straight line ferrari tends to do well also due to less wings in their setup.
On the first stint lewis able to cut down the leads shows merc engine still performs well. Now it's all down to team strategy and driver with less error would crowns the championship title. Lewis sour grape claiming ferrari with tricks just shows how bad loser he is. Actually i think he is the best drivers out there but claiming ferrari with interesting tactics and now with tricks just making him looks like clown. |

After back from pit stop you can see how fast Vettel open the gap meaning his car still have extra when really requiring to push.On the first stint lewis able to cut down the leads shows merc engine still performs well. It seems Ferrari also wears out their tires well, unlike Mercs suffering from some blisters. So it's not just about engine power but also better chassis now.

They all got tricks up their sleeves, just a matter who got the best ones! They're some of the most brilliant race car engineers in the world, of course every time they will try to cheat or do some tricks to gain an advantage.

Hope he do talk by driving Yeah, let's see if he able to achieve championship with the underpowered car. Alonso and Vettel failed to achieve that on previous inferior Ferrari. Since now Hamilton on the 2nd/3rd best car on the grid, achieve the championship will raise his "GOAT" status. Haha |
