From what I read Alonso don't get the commitment anymore from alpine, well the 1 year contract says it all but he is also nearing the end of his career. But over the years Renault haven't found any success it's part of the reason the motivation not there anymore.

For the money why not, Alonso still a big name but for winning I think his chances are gone long ago.

Yeah maybe try Indy.
His greatest achievement was beating SV when he joined RB. He was actually still quite good too when battling MV at the beginning but pity he chickened out.
*
but but seb have poor reliability that year..in such situation its easy picking for ric whistling.gif

so binotto not sacked yet? lol

Speed wise being over 1 sec back from the front runners during qualifying, it seems like a long shot.
*
max would win this, him and his RB is unstoppable at this track

its dry and straight forward race merc is way too far off

want the drive and money..just keep himself down and be the good wingman

driver like perez either on team that cant win or in team that can win but he is not the golden guy lol

2018 repeat certified

Nobody can help already

Vettel already past his prime

Previously Alonso also lost 2x by 1 digit gap

It remains that nobody else can take Ferrari in 2 glory already since Todt and Co left hahahaha
*
need to be perfect in all aspect to win a championship, its easy to say but to get a team to work perfectly nobody on the outside know how hard it is..its not only battle on the track but off track as well

but RB have the best car overall, a driver that makes the car works..this combo is hard to beat like merc and lewis all these years in this era

max at least gonna win 3 or 4 championship in a row before a shift

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Aug 28 2022, 11:08 PM)
Very sharp comments from Alonso, "...this idiot only knows to start and drive from 1st!" Lol  I guess he was too pampered by how good the Mercs were.
*
hahaha alonso is pissed but rightly so not his fault..but well lewis take himself out so nth much to say

that big thump i think surely broke the gearbox if not the chassis

one thing if you guys notice, ferrari strategist ask alot of question..i mean really alot haha

Yeah Ferrari is just truly so incompetent in terms of race strategy that it has became such a joke.
*
well its easy to say how ferrari look dumb well they are but dont have a fast car that works all the time on any tire its gonna always be a war with ownself

if have a car like RB that is fast on all tires you know you have the advantage..if not its a war if this tire would last if this tire would be faster need to cover this guy that guy and silly mistakes happen because too much to think

not say easy even for RB but the job is easier if pressure is less but in the end build a fast car win championship haha

Boring f1, just need a good stratregy team and beast car, no need great skill, just open DRS potong other like peanuts, put Alex Yong also can win lol
*
problem with F1 is always domination, few years of one team one driver wins all then ppl get tired then they try all sorts of changes and the pecking order changed to another team..the cycle just continues

This year actually Ferrari has the car and driver that can take the fight right to the end but they are just not competent enough.
*
sad to say ferrari dont have reliability and that they dont have the car, but still at least start of the season its fun to watch but gone downhill

even with budget cap and overhaul of the rules yet only one team got it right

RB also got a few technical DNFs. If Ferrari didn't make strategy blunders and drivers also don't make major mistakes, they'd still be in the thick of it.
*
the most impact is reliability, points lost on that weekend yet have more effect later with grid penalties

look at azerbaijan and spain, thats 50 points lost for leclerc when he is on course to win both race..even with bad strategy he still picks up points but reliability straight 0

to me reliability is the biggest impact to this year championship for ferrari and leclerc

Based on analysis of the article below, total points lost by Hungary for CL were 65 for reliability and 71 for errors from team and drivers (should be 72 by now). So yes reliability has the most points lost but if they were able to maximize without errors, CL would still be less than 1 race away from MV as of now.

no matter how is the calculation dnf because reliability is just a massive blow to us fans..this championship turn into just another runaway championship what i most disappointed

tbh i dont like last year championship as both contender drove with the intend to crash each other out, but this year i have high hope but skeptical if ferrari can keep up but in end sadly they cant and this championship is not interesting anymore at this stage

Can Mercedes use GR to block MV who has pitted for med, and delay the pit windows of Merc.  So LH can pit for hard and go for 1 stop ?  Then Merc might be there for a win  LOL
*
this is like a 2021 abu dhabi merc vs a 2020 ferrari..you know its impossible to hold the rb lol

looks like RB found the balance, keep the tires alive and in window
