It could spiced up if Verstappen falls again to back during race start, then motivated him to make comeback. If other drivers maybe they would be content and won't making overtake, but MV is risk taker and he could making interesting passes.

About time Mercedes's domination should be ended. Ferrari's Golden Domination also 5 years last time.

lol, it's just the hunter and the hunted role reversed. Usually it's Red Bull Max always on the hunter role, 1st time seeing him being hunted!

To be honest it's due to the race circumstances with 3rd car behind so far behind to make this strategy works. Imagine if Hamilton managed to overtook Max on lap 39-40, I would bet Max would be coming in for pit-stop while Hamilton/Mercedes would play safe staying on track for lead, then it's now Verstappen doing the hunter job and next overtakes Hamilton with "worn-out" tyre at last laps. Same outcome but different winner.

Now VB's role is to fight and block Gasly. With Mercedes's season opening huge advantage diminished, I think both Ferraris and Verstappen were ahead of VB.

In fact last 2 years Mercedes car wasn't consistently the fastest, yet it's Hamilton whom delivered. Look at Honda Motogp, where all the other Honda riders while MM crushing opponents every races. There's always a single superhero ruling the sport.

FP2 leading Mercedes by 0.8 sec, I bet put Gasly on that Ferrari cruising on this track versus others non-Ferrari also can win, lol.

you guys really jinx a lot, 1 sec is huge advantage and they can just smooth sailing to the race end finish.

on another hand brand new Mercedes engine caught fire on Racing Point, signs of reliability/design flaw, I reckon Mercedes could turn down power before investigation report out.

hehe, when engine not enough power and losing 1 sec on straights, he has to drive over limits. Hammy has champion mindset so he's just not happy with Ferrari's domination so over-extracting his car, lol
