Sandbagging on few teams aside, HAAS is much improved it seemed !

Dont read into that one too much, coz Ferrari and RBR were sandbagging. Maybe Mercedes did less, as they have a lot to sort out due to failed design from the past 2 years.

Got new floor in last weekend also.

I think perhaps it just that the circuit layout suits their "upgrade" in the past 2 races. Spanish GP will tell better. On equal tyres age, they still seems to be a vee bit behind McLaren.

Nevertheless, it's more interesting to watch the race now especially RBR has one driver not in the top 10 most of the times.

Overall a good race to watch, although the outcome is more or less the same as previous one

Looks like both McL and RBR has one driver that perform way better than the second driver, but Mercedes and Ferrari have both their drivers at competitive level.

No way 4th fastest car, don't downplay RBR speed.It's not that MV is overperforming, it's SP who is underperforming in a fast car. Well, that is also because the car was developed around their Alpha (so CH put it).

MV is a 3 times world champion, he is experienced enough and NO WAY that he didn't know LN was side by side with him, and still he moved under braking. In the end he still won, because he extended his lead over LN. This is exactly like how he took out LH in Italy back in 2021 => extend or maintain his lead.
