Competitive? 0.2 sec behind CL and Bottas 0.5 sec behind. As I said, Top Speed helps under certain circumstances. Is Verstappen's Top Speed faster than both Mercedes?

Don't count Bottas, he's not representative enough. LH 0.2 sec behind is still within the game and still considered competitive and can capitalize if CL makes a mistake or has a problem. If LH is more than 0.5 sec behind then it's not that competitive.

If Vettel participated the Q3, I expect Ferrari 1-2 on qualifying.

BTW, tomorrow's race gonna be interesting. Last year Vettel also qualified behind and done many overtake actions, including overtook Hamilton. I bet tomorrow Vettel is the man to watch.

He need to overtakes a lot while his soft still good.

The only logic I can think of is that LH gets penalized should be 5th meaning KMag should get 4th but then KMag also gets penalized so LH gets up to 4th. But the flaw in this logic is it assumes such sequence of penalties which is I think not correct too. Because KMag actually already set to get penalty first so by right LH penalty should count after KMag, meaning LH should be 5th.
