SPOTV can't and won't. If they wanted to, they would have picked up the license the moment Fox ceased. They picked up the MotoGP licence from Dorna way before Fox stopped, so it's not like they have to wait until the Fox stopped broadcasting. Now that the SEA license have been bought by specific country's broadcaster, it's unlikely anybody would get the bulk South Asian rights for F1 again unless everyone gives up their rights at the same time.
FWIW, I am rather glad that SPOTV is not getting F1, because they are not even broadcasting at full 1080i 50FPS. The quality would jump up and down, and framerates drops randomly. So much so that I just paid MotoGP for it's official stream as it has a much more consistent and better image quality than SPOTV has. I really do suspect that SPOTV is not even using the direct feed from MotoGP, but just restreaming the web stream.
If not mistaken F1 is broadcasted up to 4k. I think Sky Sports air their broadcast in 4k for certain customers. F1TVPro I have no idea how high it will go. Cannot even use with VPN because they detect your card issuer country and immediately block you from accessing it even if you're connected on a country that F1TVPro is available. F1TV is still the best. Zero ads on all sessions, multiple camera access which you don't get on tv, live detailed timing etc. But availability is a joke.
