I think modern circuits design have to be safe thus they always end up with banking which helps with grip. Whereas older circuits tend to rely more on aero and mechanical grip with their flat surface during cornering.

Ha, NR (at his best) is only slightly better VB (current moment).  He had to resist from having sex with wife to beat LH in 2016, and he need LH to have bad luck with DNF to achieve that.  So, no respect to him actually

Hmm technically maybe his driving skill is not that much better than VB but the fact that he had the mind power and dedication to sacrifice everything else and endure the physiological battle with LH to win deserves a credit. IMHO overcoming skill deficiency with physiological strength is even more difficult. Yes LH had 1 more DNF than NR but he was not performing well and genuinely beaten in many races by NR too. NR if not mistaken also suffered some technical issues and controversial penalties in some races. To me the fact that he did achieve something that almost nobody ever done (only JB was the only other) which was to beat LH in equal cars deserves his credit there.

To be honest I was underestimating him earlier and thought he will never able to win it all, so he proved me and I guess many people wrong even just for once! His main weakness is wheel-to-wheel combat, not precise and as cunning as LH. LH has a way to battle hard without looking too obviously blatant to push people out hence avoiding penalties, and that's what NR cannot do well. Seb is also like that, cannot battle hard cleanly. Those who I think are excellent in close combat are LH, FA, KR, and MV.

His years with MS though I don't consider that much since MS was already downhill.

LH himself miss the mark about the racism issue as he only focuses on blacks. Racism is broader than just impacting black people. So it's ironic that he is so vocal about it yet he himself doesn't show the full understanding of what the real issue about.

You can see the less funded teams just use the normal masks while the rich teams use custom more sophisticated looking masks that matches their team uniforms. Lol
