They think it's because of the tires. Since george doing a 1 stopper, the tires end up more botak than a 2 stopper. Hence, the total weight is lighter. But it's not conclusive.

Many reasons for it but one thing for sure, F1 teams always push for the limit. Every advantages adds up. Unless you have Lewis car weight, I think hard to know exactly why. One thing for sure is Mercedes knew about it and still go for it.

What people should ask is why do you leave those fuel in? It's very obvious what and why they are doing it. I think Lewis is very unhappy about it for a valid reason.

The top10 will be scrutinize because they are the one eligible for points scoring thus needed to pass the legality. Fuel sample, car weight, drivers weight, plank thickness just to name a few.

With how sauber is performing this year, I think Audi won't be competitive next year as well. They are building their own engine so next year will be their testing year.
