VETTEL IS RETIRING FROM F1

This season will be his last

Sad, the German 2018 really his career turning point, after that race it goes down dramatically and never recovered, only few races win with Ferrari after that.

Ferrari ruined a lot of champions, Vettel, Alonso. I think only Kimi gained a lot from Ferrari, he got to be a champion with them, got a big payout when forced to be on sabbatical.

Forza Ferrari, the team of ALL driver's dream...

I recall Giancarlo Fisichella, whom was doing good progressing at Force India, got podium and was called to join Ferrari to fill the injured Massa's seat. He said Ferrari was his childhood dream, after 2009 season there's no more seat for him and effectively ended his f1 career.

MV's FP2 long run is half second off Sainz! Yeah seems possible to achieve Ferrari 1-2.

I was thinking after 2020 covid-19 infection LH's focus or instinct not as sharp as before, it's evident on last year's races when he starting to make more rookie mistakes.

LH's peak time was 2017 and 2018, performing at highest level and maintained great consistency.

Ferrari thought they're going to get 1-2, then suddenly Russell get last year's Mercedes spicy mode to spoil their party, lol.

After max Spun also he can recover his pace so quickly. That RBR is bloody fast.... Hamilton just ran out of laps. Rain came too late as well else it would have been an exciting finish. And as usual by Ferrari 😂😂

This race Mercedes showed signs of their performance gaining, from the shocking surprise pole by GR, then GR led the race for many many laps, able to hold fast charging Leclerc for a few laps, to Hamilton sudden surge in final stint with Soft tyre...

Lesson learnt today, Red Bull and Ferrari should beware, don't like this race Ferrari so confidence, handed pole to GR and podiums to Mercedes, lol.

Newbie here
Does the news about coming to sepang on 2023 is true after the takeover government previously?
*
Didn't heard but I don't expect f1 to be back Sepang near soon because we really have less live spectator going to Sepang for f1, the Sepang organizer was losing money hosting f1...
Last weekend's Hungaroring I see 250,000 people watching there live! If we have so many live spectator would be different story.

For MotoGP definitely we have more spectator going and able to breakeven the cost or even earning.

Sepang is borderline one of those boring circuit. I think it has been helped by the weather a lot and to some extent reliability issues since it was the 2nd or 3rd race of the calendar. At first, the race time was much earlier and there's less chances of downpour. The result was also much more predictable. It only started to change when it was scheduled later in the year and also a late race start.
*
Actually I agree with you. Watched the first Sepang race and few years, those during Michael Schumacher domination period, I recall very less overtaking action and mostly straightforward pole converted to race winner

Yeah maybe try Indy.
His greatest achievement was beating SV when he joined RB. He was actually still quite good too when battling MV at the beginning but pity he chickened out.

His career went downhill after hitting the Red Bull's New Golden Boy - Super Max
