Mercedes caught up with Ferrari. I guess Ferrari title challenge is over.
*
Is it? Don't pancut awal yet.
However, I'm concern on Ferrari engine reliability, Leclerc said there's anomaly during his FP2 run, something to do with engine tuning he said. Carlos Sainz's floor change because of suspected fuel tank issue when mechanic fired up the engine and heard some abnormal noise...

Few races back everyone praises CL's gentleman act after his car failed, comforting Ferrari camp and leaving emotion behind, now exploded pula?

It seems like Red Bull and possibly Ferrari are playing with flexing floor which explained how they have almost zero porpoising. How much will it slow them down... this would be interesting in the next couple of races if RB starts to porpoise.

I wonder if this is also how Alpine turn their porpoising on and off.
*
But Ferrari porpoise the most in the grid right?

Mercs and British media previously played underdog card, this year they playing overhyped cards. Get this first win then if fastest. Throughout the years occasionally Alonso also brilliance at certain races, but with that car he ain't getting a win also.

Hahaha, 2/3rd prediction correct, unfortunately the dnf engine failure happened to CS instead of MV! Lol

Very glad finally CL got to win again, hopefully now the momentum can swing back in his favor to close back the points.
*
Honda engine never failed since last year! The season opening fuel pump common part issue excluded.

Who do you think should replace DR at Mclaren?

Fernando Alonso, the third time racing with McLaren would be shocking.

Ferrari with updated clutch for better race start, wow. Imagine Leclerc the qualifying champion this year easily run away now.

CS got engine penalty for 10 places. But both Ferraris look quick while SP in rhe 2nd RB seems still struggling. Mercs seems just the same, not as improved as many thought but still long way to go..
*
This year Mercedes's PR and fans are champion in creating hype, before this weekend keep seeing posts they got upgrades this weekend, first win is possible etc, lol.

Why Leclerc and Ferrari was repeating the 2018 Vettel- Ferrari footstep? Speechless throwing away the championship like that

Ross Brawn: 2022 F1 is success, overtaking is now very easy.
Me watching Verstappen tailgating Leclerc for 15 laps, CS with Medium tire tailgating Russell with inferior Mercedes for many laps before success...

Now with 10 more races to go, MV only needs to win the next race and he can already afford to just finish 2nd in the final 9 races and still be champ even if CL wins all 9!
*
That was fairly easy task for MV! Remember he was constantly getting 1-2 1-2 on races without accident or tire fault since 2020 until this year Monaco!

Ferrari going the same sleeper stage like man utd after alex ferguson left

Since todt and company hang their post no one else can bring ferrari forward already

Closest was fernando alonso in 2010 and 2012

Even seb vettel also lost it in the same stage like today in 2018

So we can assume its now battle for number 2 driver and constructor championship laugh.gif laugh.gif
*
Somebody said at other site just now...
Vettel's 71st race for Ferrari is German 2018, then the championship and his Ferrari golden days gone.
Today was Leclerc's 72nd race for Ferrari...

well its max to win it, anything that go against ferrari is what gonna be

if you ask me even max win it this year brit fans will still say they he is lucky hahaha

Those fans will argue last year he was helped by Masi, this year the early 2022 regulation was designed for Red Bull etc to stop Mercedes's dominance.

Big contrast from last year, this year Top 2 teams are competing in harmonic way and sometime I feel the Bromance

Whatever Masi done, it is all on Red Bull, nothing to do with him.

I branded the last few races as his worse because you could see he was trying to do a Schumacher move on few occasions especially in Brazil.
*
To be honest for me it's eye opening and fun to watch, MV did so many things such as brake check, surrendered position let Hamilton passed through due to track limit and quickly overtake back, wow. Really fierce competition just like wild animal world.

Compared to 2016 season, Hamilton keep winning the final few races while Rosberg just played safe for 2nd position without drama till the end, that was so boring.. but don't forget the final race Hamilton also did slowed down trying to push Rosberg to Vettel for overtaking
