Hi guys, so I was looking around for laptops as I'm kinda itching for a laptop with 120Hz display before. I was looking at the ROG Strix GL503 since I saw someone posted that it's expected to be pretty affordable for an ROG gaming laptop. Then I noticed this Sonic Radar software.

It supposedly gives visual cues as to where a particular sound is coming from but I'm wondering as helpful as it sounds, would this be kinda unfair for gamers, especially in CS:GO or Overwatch? Also, how accurate is it? unsure.gif

I think it will be helpful for those gamers who can't wear headphones because their moms will yell at them for missing the dinner call tongue.gif
But any good headphone with proper soundstaging will deliver all the cues a "true" gamer needs. This will only help the weaker players catch up icon_rolleyes.gif

Not gonna lie, even with headphones on, I sometimes can't tell where the sound is actually coming from, so i thought this would be kind of an unfair advantage laugh.gif
But yeah, come to think of it, it would be useful if you have to play games without the sound on...like in class whistling.gif
