I just ported out from Maxis to Celcom and immediately regretting this decision.
Maxis was expensive, so I thought I could get more data by jumping to Celcom. But I was paying for premium connection & reliability with Maxis. Celcom’s network just isn’t as good as Maxis. It keeps switching between 3G & 4G, and its 3G speeds is only 1Mbps where I am. Maxis was getting 3-4 Mbps on 3G. Celcom’s indoor coverage is horrible, it would fluctuate between E, 3G & 4G, where Maxis would just stay rock solid on 4G. Only thing I enjoy on Celcom is its 2G network which is a good backup where Maxis is making do without 2G on most of it sites. |
