Hi guys,

Anyone knows how to remove cement from tar road.
My contractor accidently spill cement (from cement lorry) on the road,
asked him to clear, he did, but still there's remaining on the road, about thin layer and went in between small rock.
Does any kind of acid will do the job?
Today is day 4 from the cement set on the road.
I dont want any more delay as i guess it will be harder to remove it later.

Thanks in advance.

Harder to remove later? It is already impossible to remove.

No chemical could remove it off, unless you hammer it off (If possible).

If you just wanna cover the concrete colour, use tar..

dont need to remove lah. as long as the road still flat ok. as you mentioned they already cleared the top part off.

if you damage the original road by hacking then sure will always kena pothole later.

Neighbour already made some noise about it, saying that majlis warned them as it happened infront of their house.

real or he just made up story?

then can either paint or ask your contractor to hack the whole section and retar. but confirm gonna be shoddy and end up as pothole.

i guess best to use tar or just paint it black.

I have no idea, but I dont want any trouble, lets everybody happy.

Tar will be the ideal option so far.

Not worth the effort.

Are u sure the majlis is making a fuss of it?

They'll still make a fuss if u paint over me thinks.

I think its gonna crack and chip away in time.

I hope they arent, otherwise, my deposits to majlis and developer (since its still under developer) are going to be burned.

Yeah, hope by painting it will mask everything.

It does look thin enough from the pic u supplied.

I won't paint it if I were u.

We can't blame the contractor ah if majlis comes knocking?

I doubt majlis is complaining, more like your neighbor instead haha.
