gawd the quality is damn crap.

Story wise doesn't seem extremely interesting, might gonna let it finish then only see if its worth watching.

So far I only like Kazuma. The rest of the story is the normal Shounen type genre. Well I'll keep watching this and see how it goes.

Okay, wonder why there is no thread of this yet. Anyways, not just for the anime but for the novel as well.
For those who don't know what anime this is, this thread will CONTAIN SPOILARS, so download, watch and come back.

I was reading teh Baka-tsuki translation version of the novel, but sadly there was too little translated there. But then some poor soul helped scan his novel for me. He just scanned what the anime used only tho (skipping many chapters) but that was enough for me. The real difference for me of the novel compared to the anime is that in the novel Kazuma seems more perverty. I mean REALLY perverty towards Ayano. In the anime he will pat her shoulder if she done well, but in the novel, he will pat her butt instead XD
And also the date episode where they were interupted by Catherine, they did not eat ramen after that, but eat sweet potatoes in a park. When Kazuma drank the wine he swiped from the restaurant, Ayano took it from him and drank from the bottle, spilling many on her neck. To which Kazuma licked and suck and leave a hickey.....
And they left out the funniest scene in the novel, where in the Ayano/Catherine fight, when Catherine said her name was "McDonald", in the novel Ayano replied "I will not lose out to a person that share the same name with a fast food restaurant" XD

I do think there was a thread for this anime. Just browse between page 10-20 of the forum topics to look for it.

Anyway, i also haven't use the search function in any forum.

she's not the real Tsuo Rin. When she was killed, Lapis was the byproduct

But her form was retained. Along with some other stuff. Can't remember, have to watch the anime to confirm.

IIRC, she was completely consumed or some shit like that. Only the outer shell and dunnowhatothersutff remains.

No, Ren is as cool headed as his brother but he has his own flame. I think he's subconciously purging his flame power, as each ppl of the clan has it's own flame power (While Ayano is a powerfull and dangerous, Ren's is purifying). But as was mentioned in the initial episodes, the original contractor is the one that has the most power, thus whatever flame power he has, his wind power is greater as he contracted directly with the wind god. Heck, he can make his own clan and has wind powered offsprings too.
A disturbing thought, Ayano + Kazuma's child = Wind/Flame user

Fuu (same kanji as Kaze) = Wind

Both mean the same thing.

And he contracts DIRECTLY to the wind god. Unlike the Kannagi who depends on their bloodlines for power.

IIRC...i read somewhere that his poewr will be passed down the bloodline. The Kanangi ancestor made a contract with the Fire Spirit King too IIANM.

dude, it's from a novel. And no, it does not follow 100% of the novel. about 85%ish i might say.

and since the both manga n novel is still running (as of now: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaze_no_stigma ) the possibilities for the ending of anime will may be slightly different / hagging (like having "PLEASE READ THE MANGA / NOVEL FOR THE REST OF THE STORY" word appear at the ending) compare to the novel / manga ending

it will end at volume 5 of the novel, where Kazuma fights Burnheart for the last time. It's good enough for an ending
