Dear Sifus,

I am facing problems with my Canon 70D shutter issues and I am not sure what was the whole cause of it.

Tried in several modes, while snapping through the viewfinder i face problems such as below ;
M Mode : Clicked on shutter, one sound came out, but it didnt manage to take any photo and the whole camera hang for about 45 seconds.
P Mode : Same thing happens.
Auto Mode : Everything works well

However, while trying to snap through by looking at the LCD screen, everything works well as well.

Anyone out there that are facing similar issues like mine?

Have you tried to reset your camera? I used to have the same issue with my canon 60D. It turns out that the camera wont take photo if it cannot achieve focus. Switching the AF mode to AI servo or MF will help to confirm this. One other thing to check is to try taking photo with a different SD card. Sometime some residual files in the SD card can cause conflict with the operation of the camera. Owh one last thing, make sure the camera is not in timer mode biggrin.gif
