Mine died today. Damn it. After about 1.5 years, it finally decides to gimme the 3ROD. Oh well, I sent it to Jason. Hopefully he'll be able to revive it. Djinn if u're reading this..please try your best ok?

Yay!!! Thanks Djinn. I'll come collect from u later around 4-5pm when the traffic isn't so bad. I bet its crazy over there now esp on the weekends.

Well, at least u got a warning. Mine just 3ROD without any warning. Good thing we can get it fixed these days.

I guess it depends on how long u can wait for u'r machine to get fixed. If it really 3RODs, then look for the error code, if it matches the one that "our" guys can fix, why not send it to them? It'll take maximum 2 days. Wonder how long it'll take if u sent it back to SG?

The 360 does have some serious hardware issues which they fail acknowledge. Have a read here :

Without the x-clamp replacement fix, i can never recommend the 360 to anyone..

^ Lol, u might be right..before I got my 3ROD, I hardly turn on my 360..i was busy with the Wii and PS3.. then Dreamy asked me to play Crackdown..the next day, i got 3ROD.

Now its the total opposite.. with Blue Dragon, the other 2 consoles are left collecting dust.

Actually I was just wondering..to those that are buying modded 360, what happens when the machine goes 3ROD? Do they fix it for u free or what?

Is it really just 30% of all 360s getting 3ROD? Seems much higher here in LYN. Almost everyone i know from LYN has 3ROD.

Thanks to Djinn, my 360 is alive again for the 2nd time. Only problem this time is, my 360 sounds like a vacuum cleaner when its turned on. I guess he must have replaced the fans. No matter what i must finish Bioshock before it dies again.
