Is there any way we can call M$ SG by ourselves, diagnose the dang problem & journey there for a 3rod replacemnt?

My friend tried to fix his 3rod by himself, but it didnt work.
Now he's so pissed he's giving up on console gaming for awhile.
The worse part is he's an ori user, just like me.

Damn man.. looking at all this is making me worried about my 360.
My friend also kena 3rod, & something went wrong during his x-clamp replacement.
Now cant use at all.

I'm already starting to save for a trip to SG if mine kena 3rod

Good luck man, the wait is gonna be painful. I'd do the same thing as well.

I noticed something, my 2 friends who 3rodded, their manufacturing date is the same.
Maybe we should start posting our manufacturing dates(for the consoles) here.
We could detect if certain dates are more prone to 3rodding?

Maybe the jackasses working on those days screwed it up ?
Something like Date , Error Code etc ...

In YYYY-MM-DD format:-

I tried it and it works. But Telephone call vs shipping price vs x-clamp, its up to you guys to decide if its worth it.

Maybe because its too much cost to change the manufacturing process now.
I think they'll revise the design when the 65nm chip comes out.

I just came back. Press the xbox button on my controller, nothing. So decided to manually turn it on & BADABING -- 3ROD.
error code 0020

Sigh.. gotta consider my options now.
Anyway im going out for a while, will try n troubleshoot over the weekend.

M$ crap product. That makes it a !00% failure rate among my 3 friends, Verced, SlashingStream & BytePunk (me)
